Operational Overview
SMME Productivity Awareness and Audit Project
Strategic alliances were formed with the SMME directorates in the Free State, Western Cape and the Eastern Cape Development Corporation to reach SMME’s and service providers in these provinces. Eleven productivity awareness workshops were conducted for service providers in the Northern Cape, Free State and the Eastern Cape to reach a total of 189 service providers. Ten productivity awareness and audit workshops were conducted in these provinces and we reached 672 SMME’s.
Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Project
The programme also formed strategic alliances with provincial special programmes for people with disabilities in the Free State and Western Cape.
- Two productivity awareness workshops for service providers in this sector were conducted and we reached 31 service providers.
- Two workshops were conducted for entrepreneurs with disabilities and reached 99 entrepreneurs.
- A situational analysis to identify productivity constraints for the creation of sustainable businesses for entrepreneurs with disabilities and accessing resources has been finalized. This report will be made available on Productivity SA website.
Study on the Impact of Domestic Violence on the Productivity of Women in the Workplace
Research on the impact of domestic violence on the productivity of women in the workplace is currently in progress. The results will be presented in a seminar for critical stakeholders.
