What initially started out as a week in which efforts to create awareness of productivity and competitiveness were intensified, has now developed into a fully-fledged Productivity Month. This has proved to be a landmark in the organisation’s annual campaign

On the basis of overall performance, the WCY identified a number of challenges facing the country during 2009.

The National Productivity Awards will be celebrated again this year to honour certain South African companies in the Corporate, Public and Emerging sectors. The organiser of the awards, Productivity SA, is calling on all businesses from the Corporate, Public and Emerging sectors, that have implemented productivity improvement practices in a sustainable manner, to participate in this exciting opportunity by entering the 2010 National Productivity awards.
